The Spreadsheet Viewer in OfficeSuite
OfficeSuite opens Microsoft® Office XLS and XLSX files, as well as CSV files.
Viewing and Navigation
For easy browsing and navigation OfficeSuite offers some on-screen controls.
- Changing of speadsheets - as in Microsoft Excel, OfficeSuite supports different tabs for each spreadsheet. To switch to a spreadsheet, just tap on its tab. For files with multiple sheets, touch the sheet bar until a list appears and then select the desired one.
Charts - Tap on the screen and hold until the chart button appears. It allows you to open embedded charts in the current spreadsheet. The Select charts dialog will open with the list of available charts.
- Zoom - to zoom in and out, simply pinch or extend with two fingers until you reach the desired zoom level.
- Changing row height and/or column width - You can change the row height or column width by tapping and holding on the row/column boundary. Slide the boundary left/right or up/down. A thin black line will indicate the new boundary position.
For easier spreadsheet viewing you can use some additional features available in the menu:
- Full screen - allows you to use the whole screen area.
- Go to - gives you the ability to move directly to a cell with given coordinates.
- Freeze - allows you to freeze rows and /or columns to make them visible all the time while you scroll in a sheet. Select from the menu and then
