Editor

The Editor is where you'll find the full complement of PhotoSuite's advanced photo editing features whenever a project is opened. PhotoSuite combines powerful features with a compact design, for less searching through menus and more creating.

Tapping on the PhotoSuite icon in the upper left will take you to the Homescreen at any time (you will be prompted to save or discard any changes you've made).

You can adjust the zoom level of your project with a two-finger pinch gesture. A zoom indicator will appear showing the exact zoom percentage, which can be locked by tapping on the Pan icon. Once locked, you can still adjust the zoom level, but you'll now be able to pan the image using just one finger.

 

The Undo and Redo arrows allows to quickly cycle through the 10 most recent changes you've made to your project.

On tablets, you'll also find an Insert icon and a Capture icon that let you quickly insert new layers into your project.

The Layers icon opens the Layers interface, where you can manage, group, delete, rearrange, and merge your project layers.

The Contextual menu, accessed with the icon on the upper right, houses a wide range of additional features:

• Save any changes you've made to the project.
• Save as a new project name and location (internal storage or SD card).
• Share a project as an image (.JPG or .PNG) using any of your devices' sharing options.
• Export the project as an image (.JPG or .PNG) to the default PhotoSuite directory.
• Project Size lets you adjust your project's proportions by width, height, or file size.
• Help will open this help documentation.
• About will show you the version of PhotoSuite you're using, changelogs of past and present updates, the PhotoSuite EULA, privacy policy, and third party software licenses.
• Insert lets you add a custom image to your project, either via camera or from your device.
• Reset warnings resets any confirmation dialogs you have previously marked as 'Always apply'. Currently, this includes the transform and crop tool dialogs.

Finally, you'll find icons that access PhotoSuite's wide array of editing tools:

	Transform - Includes tools to flip, rotate, and freely transform elements.
	Select - Allows you to make selections with a wide range of tools and methods.
	Crop - Allows you to crop and resize your project, including custom sizes and ratios.
	Draw - Choose from a wide variety of freehand drawing brushes, including mask and erase.
	Shape - Offers a large selection of custom and conventional shapes and shape combinations.
	Text - Lets you enter text of varying font typefaces, sizes, and colors.
	Effects - Displays a browsable thumbnail gallery of the available effects filters.
	Adjustments – Features sliders for Hue, Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation tuning.

On smartphones, these tools are accessed through a dropdown menu in the upper left.
